Seaside was developed in 1981 and sits on 80 acres of beachfront property. This peaceful town allows you to go back to the early 80s when the pace of life was just a little slower. The white picket fences, cobblestone streets, cottages, beach homes, beachy store fronts and pocket-parks come together to make your stay feel like a home away from home. Imagine visiting the towns you have always wanted to live in from shows like Gilmore Girls and then put it on the Gulf of Mexico! Blissful living is always at your fingertips here in Seaside.

Things To Do:
1.) The Food Truck scene is on a whole other level here in Seaside. Silver food trucks line the sidewalk at the main entrance of the town and each offer delicious gourmet treats.
Come on down to Central Square and checkout our favorites, including Barefoot BBQ, Raw & Juicy,Frost Bites, Wild Bill's Beach Dogs, and, of course, Meltdown on 30A.
2.) The Seaside Repertory Theatre hosts events throughout the year, including plays, comic performances and concerts. Be sure to make time for the outdoor concerts and movies under the stars too.

3.) Modica Market has been a Seaside staple for years, offering unique gourmet treats, fresh baked cakes and desserts, a delightful deli counter and other specialty items alongside regular groceries to meet the needs of residents and visitors.

4.) Sundog Books and Central Square Records on the Seaside Square are the perfect respite from the sun as you browse for unique books, records, t-shirts and gifts.

5.) The Weekly Farmers Market is a town gathering that offers great treats and vibes from local vendors.
