Planning a trip to 30A? We can help! But first, where should you stay? Each community has a unique essence. A huge part of our custom tailored vacation experience has to do with WHERE your rental is located. Are you looking for the hustle and bustle of live music and family fun? Or, do you prefer a more quiet and quaint relaxation station. 30A has it all. What you do is up to you!
Dune Allen Beach
In comparison to most of the 30A communities, Dune Allen Beach is more ideal for those who prefer a quiet getaway. It's close enough to the fun that if you're craving shopping, dining or entertainment, it's not far off. If those are lower on your list of vacation must-haves, Dune Allen's a great go-to. As we go through the list, you'll see while this isn't the only option for a zen beach experience, its definitely known for it's laid-back residential atmosphere.
Gulf Place
If you're looking for the beach, eat, play experience, Gulf Place is a GREAT option. There's walkable bikeable fun, restaurants, shops, and an amphitheater mere steps from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy beautiful sunsets over the water from the second floor of Shunk Gulley's ocean view dining area or enjoy a morning bike ride with the 30A YOLO Bike Club. While Gulf Place is one of the newer developments along 30A, it has so much to offer!
Blue Mountain
Blue Mountain beach is similar to Dune Allen in that it has a very relaxed vibe. It's the highest elevation on the gulf coast, which contributes to the name. From the natural grocery store "For The Health Of It" to the delicious array of frozen options at the Blue Mountain Beach Creamy, this laid-back, quite beach neighborhood has everything to make you feel like a local or like you're home away from home.
Grayton Beach
This funky beach-town was the first community established in South Walton and it's now lined with an artsy touch and filled with hot-spot restaurants. This stretch of beach is the only one on 30A where you can obtain a permit to drive and park vehicles on the white sand. Home of the Grayton Beach State Park there's a HUGE Coastal Dune Lake that can take you all the way to Watercolor that's fit for kayaking and paddle boarding on your great escape to 30A.
WaterColor Beach
Home of the award winning WaterColor Inn, this community is one of the newer communities along 30A. Concealed within the residential area of the WaterColor neighborhood sits the BoatHouse, a hub for fresh-water adventures. Rent a canoe, kayak or paddleboard. If you're looking for a new/updated vacation rental with private beach accesses, and more sophisticated restaurants definitely look into the experience that WaterColor has to offer.
Seaside
If you've heard of 30A, you've most likely heard of Seaside. This iconic and bustling neighborhood has no shortage of shops, restaurants or FUN. The very popular food-truck style trailers serve all the best comfort foods that you can take to-go to catch a show at the amphitheater. Whether or not you stay in this community, you should 100% stop by Bud and Ally's for a drink and a sunset to just enjoy the splendor of Seaside!
Seagrove
This neighborhood is the longest stretch of beach on 30A. It's normally suggested for those looking for a less-crowded beach experience because of how spread-out Seagrove is. Sprinkled throughout this community you'll find store fronts and restaurants. There are also two Coastal Dune Lakes. There's something for everyone as accommodations include luxurious homes, gulf front condos as well as beautiful quaint cottages.
Watersound
This private resort-style community features New-England inspired architecture and boardwalks intertwined among wind-swept dunes, enclosed in a secluded stretch of 30A. The vacation rentals in Watersound are upscale and offer a luxury experience. With golf courses and green spaces, Watersound is the perfect escape to enjoy the beauty of South Walton.
Prominence
This community is home to The Hub, a perfect family friendly atmosphere. Prominence is an all-new development on 30A and may be exactly what you're looking for. The community amenities include a 5,000 sq ft resort-style pool, state-of-the-art fitness center, tons of hammocks and all the shopping, dining and live music you need to make memories that'll last a lifetime! With just a short bike or shuttle to the gulf and you've got everything you need!
Seacrest Beach
This expansive neighborhood begins just after Watersound, stops at Alys Beach and continues after Alys all the way to Rosemary. Seacrest beach has a 12,000 sq ft pool and several (casual and gourmet) restaurants and shops to explore between beach days. Socialize at the Peedler's Pavilion, enjoy the walking paths or rent a bike to explore the area. Seacrest Beach is an awesome family-friendly option for you to experience the best of 30A.
Alys Beach
The incredibly unique aesthetic of Alys Beach is apparent upon arrival. As a developing community, it has a consistent theme of Bermuda architecture throughout and luxurious motif. Just a short walk through the cobblestone roads brings you out to the white sand beaches of the Emerald Coast. Alys beach has an amphitheater as well as several parks and gourmet eateries and an exotic private-community pool with cabanas to enjoy. This intentionally sustainable community is undoubtedly impressive.
Rosemary Beach
A very popular upscale community, Rosemary Beach has everything you need for a vacation you'll never forget. The canopy roads draw you in and the and the atmosphere of this classic beach neighborhood is what gets you to stay! With tennis courts, community pools and an amazing town center, your family can enjoy all the comforts of living within the convenience of an atmosphere suitable for both relax and play. Rosemary beach has a wide array of exquisite options for dining, shopping and recreational activities for you to immerse yourself in during your stay.
Inlet Beach
Here you will find the largest public beach access in South Walton. If you're staying in Inlet, definitely consider a bonfire with Live Well 30A. The beauty of Inlet beach is you get the "Old Florida" vibes of Blue Mountain or Dune Allen Beach, and the proximity to all the fun at Rosemary Beach. It's home to 13-acres of protected dunes, so the untouched landscape is exactly as nature intended.
