Beach Bag Must-Haves

It already feels like Spring here at the beach and with Spring Break just a few short weeks away, we’re getting ready for a sun-filled season! As you prepare for the countless hours of beach lazing ahead of you, we’ve put together some of our top items to include in your beach bag. Not only will this list save you a little stress, but will also make your days at the beach much more enjoyable!
Sunscreen | If you’re ready for a full day of sun on the beach, sunscreen is a must for your bag! There’s nothing more important than skin safety when you spend all day soaking up the sun. Slather on at least SPF 50 before you hit the sand and surf. If you plan on spending a full day at the beach, be sure to reapply throughout the day.
Towel | A fun beach towel is a must for the beach! If you’re looking to stand out with your towel try finding one with eye-catching designs! If you have the space in your beach tote, bring along an extra towel to use for drying off or brushing off the sand! View some of our favorite towels here!
Shades | Throw on your favorite shades at the beach to protect your eyes from the harmful UV rays. If you’re prone to losing your sunglasses, try wearing a holder around your neck. You never know when a game of sand volleyball will become too intense!
Book | For a relaxing day at the beach, a good read is a must. Grab the book you’ve been looking for the time to read and enjoy the sun, surf, and a good book!
Phone Charger | If you plan on spending the full day at the beach and taking lots of photos and listening to music… you’re bound to have to charge your phone. Since it’s impossible to find an outlet at the beach, you’ll need to bring a mobile charger.
Underwater Camera | Taking photos at the beach are a must. Don’t risk bringing your phone to snap photos by the water, pick up an underwater camera instead. It will save you a lot of nerves. Check out one of our favorite underwater cameras here!
