Where to Brunch Like a Local on 30A

Here on 30A, Sunday is our time to relax and fuel up for the week with brunch. Whether you’re a Bloody Mary fanatic or a grits-obsessed ‘bruncher,’ 30A has a brunch scene unlike any other place on the Gulf Coast. Check out a few of our favorite spots below!
Bud & Alley’s
Located in iconic Seaside, Florida is Bud & Alley’s, a beachside restaurant with delicious food! Try the local’s favorite, the Southern Style Breakfast where you get two eggs your way, stone ground grits, wheat toast, and your choice of sausage or bacon. Sip on mimosas, Bloody Marys, and hand-crafted espresso beverages. Breakfast is served daily from 8AM - 11AM.

Great Southern Cafe / The Bay
On Central Square in Seaside Florida is the famous, Great Southern Cafe. Known for its Grits Á Yaya Yaya, a favorite among local and visitors alike. Smoked Gouda cheese grits are topped with a sauté of applewood-smoked bacon, portobello mushrooms, spinach, and spiced shrimp with a sweet potato hay on top. Trust us, your plate will be empty. Breakfast is served from 8AM to 11AM.
If you’re looking to venture off of 30A for brunch, check out Great Southern’s sister restaurant, The Bay serving a variety of brunch favorite. Try the Smoked Pork & Biscuits, slow-smoked pulled pork tossed in a light Asian barbecue sauce, over a house-made cheddar, herb, and bacon biscuit and served with a fried egg. Sunday Bayside Brunch is served from 11AM to 2PM.

Havana Beach Bar & Grill
Located at The Pearl in Rosemary Beach, this AAA 4-Diamond Restaurant is home to one of the best brunch spots on 30A. Indulge on the popular Rope Vieja of stewed flat iron, chorizo rice, black beans served with tortilla, romaine, and cilantro. The best part? Brunch is served daily at the Havana Beach Bar & Grill from 8AM - 3PM.

Highlands House
Hit up the Bottomless Bubble Bar for only $15, or the “Make Your Own” Bloody Mary Bar for $8 with $5 refills for your brunch booze fix. French toast fan? You’ve got to try the Monte Cristo, house-made brioche french toast, oven-roasted turkey, smoked ham, brie, strawberry preserves topped with 100% maple syrup and served with french fries. Marie’s Bistro
You’ll be treated like family at this family-owned and operated, 30A gem! Try their famous Smoked Salmon Platter with thinly sliced salmon, toasted bagel, and cream cheese. Topped with capers, onions, and tomatoes. Not in the mood to go inside for brunch? Marie’s is the way to go. Take advantage of their drive thru and call ahead to pick up.
